THIS IS WHERE IT ALL HAPPENS

Bodyfuddau is an ancient farmhouse set in lovely countryside. Trawsfynydd is a Welsh speaking village and very friendly. It's name means 'across the mountain'. To get here by road come to Trawsfynydd along the A470. If coming from the south [Dolgellau] watch for the lake and village, and turn up the no-through road opposite the first entrance to village. From the north [Porthmadog or Betws-y-Coed] follow A470. pass Bala road on left and turn up next no-through road. Do not go down the Abergeirw road; there be dragons, that is you will wander in the mountains for ever. Bodyfuddau is one mile down the no-through lane, immediately after a hump-backed bridge across a stream. and is reached through the farm buildings visible from the bridge.
